Hi everybody,

I've got a question for my next shoot with a 550D. Is it possible to use headphones monitoring while you're shooting with eos utility ?

Thanks,

a1ex

If you can hack the cable to get both USB and A/V signal, it might work. I don't think anyone tried it.

I'm gonna try this option. I'll tell if it works.

Thank you !

How can this be done? Isn't audio sent thru some of the USB cables, no?
I'm using ML2.3 for photography with:

I believe there are extra pins in the Canon USB plug for audio.
T3i and Kiss X4 (550d (T2i)) Tamron 18-200mm, Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 (need firmware upgrade) Olympus 50mm f1.8  Olympus 28mm f2.8 and Olympus 24mm f2.8
Fancier 370 tripod and LCD hinged loupe. DIY Slider and crane.

Interesting, seems strange that the guys at sescom did no investigation.
I'll take a closer look at that cable, thanks :)
