[IMPOSSIBLE] Change scrollwheel behaviour when shutter button is half pressed

Since it seems there can't be Auto Iso in creative modes on the 5Dc, I would like to propose the following :
Right now, when the shutter button is half pressed, the scrollwheel keeps its normal behaviour (exposure correction in AV or Tv mode, and changing aperture in M mode)
I would like it to change the Iso value on the fly while the shutter button is half pressed.
Do you think it's possible?

I'll try to enable AUTO iso in M mode and also that suggestion, but Ineed to find out why 5Dc code can't compile for me.
I think that you can try to setup a toolchain and try to compile ML by yourself. I've started with no C knowledge and even if it's still nearly none I can now add simple feat. that I like to have, so don't underestimate you.
My background was from html and bash, lol.

Thanks for your reply and your encouraging words.
I'm really planning on learning how to develop for ML.
I'm always interested in learning more skills.
In fact, I'm already a self taught 3D modeler and a self taught VB programmer. So, there is hope.
What makes me a bit reluctant is the linux environement. I'm very familiar with it.

You are not limited to linux for developing ML.
I'm using osx and it worked good until those compiling problems with 5DC (not yet sure if it is a OS problem.).
Other devs like nanomad or Pel if don't remember wrong are using windows.
