[ALREADY DONE] Racking DOF

I've had this idea for a while. I was wondering if it might be possible to close/open the aperture on an ef/ef-s lens while recording and adjust the iso/ sometimes shutter accordingly to compensate. The benefit would be a variable dof that could be used just like a rack focus, but to a different effect. I am aware that each lens has a different amount of light loss and that f-stops only account for the diameter of the aperture opening, not actual light transference. I was thinking it might be possible to program the camera for each lens's actual light transference, then save  a log file for reference when 'racking the dof'. Maybe a compensation of iso combined with shutter adjustment could properly account for light loss or gain.

I'm also curious about building a custom grip to suit magic lantern's user interface. I have a grip for my 60d, but I would like to access the user interface from a grip on my rails. I'd like to make it something like an anton grip. I'm not sure where to post this last question, so please excuse it as an add on.

Already done, enable exposure lock and gradual exposure, then use the scrollwheel. I've just tried it on 5D3 with 50/1.8 - flickers a bit, but with some postprocessing it should be fine.
