I can't save crop mark on PS6

Hi, maybe is a dumb question, but i can not make it work ...

I follow the tutorial to create my own crop mark usin Photoshop, but after all steps, when i select "Saves as" on the menu, BMP is not availabile ... i see gif, psd, tiff, etc.

What's wrong?

Make sure you are in RGB color mode, 8bit. It's there for me.

Are you sure it has to be RGB color mode?

The tutorial says "Before saving it as BMP you need to convert it to "Indexed Color" mode: Select from Image->Mode menu "Indexed Color"" ... if i choose RGB i loose "Indexed Color" ...

No, actually, I'm not sure. Never made a cropmark. I just suggested it because I've made the mistake of working in CMYK and trying to save bitmaps.
