recommended workflow for deleting photos on memory cards

Hello

I am a first time user of ML (on a EOS M) and have learned that you cannot reformat the card to delete the photos (that what I used to do when working with Lightroom, wich does for good reasons not allow to delete photos automatically after import) - well, you can, but then ML is gone also !

So how do you guys do it ? Jus ordinary with a file browser ? Or does there exist a ML function I have overseen to do it quickly ?

Although I am uncertain about the M, on every other model, ML is able to format the card in camera and then restore all the appropriate ML files. This is done through the regular Canon format screen.

Francis, thanks, works as you said, no idea how I managed to mess up and delete ML before ...
