New lenses from Canon and Sigma

What do you think about these lenses?
Canon is asking a bit too much for the new 35 although i can understand the IS implementation must have costed them a bit of redesign of the lens itself. The 24-70 f4 looks not that good to me, i can't really justify spending over 1200€ for an f4 lens when you can have a Tamron for less and the same stabilization.
I like the Sigma more, even though the lens barrel looks a bit awkward in design (i have yet to learn what Sigma has done to redefine its lineup of products) but the price is good and it should perform very well.
This is probably the first lens that lets the user control it, the USB dock can make focus adjustments on the lens and not on the body, as it works now.
Nice move Sigma.
About Canon, i see their new lenses are selling well but i can't help thinking that their latest products are a bit disappointing.
What are your thoughts?

I would buy a 24-70/4 IS around 800-1000 USD if it would be sharp enough (we don't know yet how this new lens performs). 1500 is a little bit pricey for me. The new 24-70/2.8 is very sharp, but no IS and very expensive too.
I'm using an old 28-80/2.8-4 USM L now.
I had some Sigma lenses (70-200/2.8, 105/2.8 macro, 1.4x, 2x) but after a few years all had different problems so I turned to Canon lenses and never looked back.
I love IS that's why I'm using Canon system.

I am not very amazingly happy about my Sigma 70-200 as well, considering it's the first one of the lineup and dates back to 1999 (it survived the millennium bug, hurray!) . Sometimes it struggles to initiate the focusing procedure and it isn't as silent as i hoped but for 350€ i can't complain. The MFD of 1.8 meters is what really bothers me. All in all, i don't really feel the need of buying Canon lenses apart from the 70-200 2.8 and the supertele ones. I'd make an exception for a 135 f/2 if it costed a bit less. I'm happy with my primes honestly, if there was a cheap 200 2.8 or a bit faster with decent price to performance ratio i'd buy one but as now i love my Samyangs and i really wish i could have focus confirmation for them (thanks for this Canon  ) . Another thing:on most lenses i feel like IS is much more interesting than AF, if you could have AF confirmation as i said, as 2-3 stops of advantage over your minimum safe shutter speed are really useful.
