Hallo,

ich habe zwei kurze Videos zum THema HDR Photo & Video erstellt.

Im Video HDR Photo könnt ihr sehen wie man ein HDR Photo mit Magic Lantern aufnimmt:

Hier ein Vergleich zwischen dem Standard Video von Canon und dem ML HDR Video:

Hi Thanks for showing these.

I have a question about the HDR video. I think it can be executed better. The contrast in this situation is not that huge that HDR is required unless you want to capture more cloud detail. If so the dark exposure should be the light exposure and the the dark exposure should be darker to capture more cloud detail.

If you enable both over- and underexposed zebras and set exposure at a point where no zebras occur then there is no need for HDR video. You already have all information available in the scene.

Is it me or the Canon standard looks better in the video example ? 

Also I don't think it's a good example overall because there are no details in the sky to speak of - so underexposing brings nothing to the table but making it less white, at least that's what I think.

Hallo Jungs ich will mir ML 1.0.4 flashen auf meine Canon 650D,nun das flashen kann ich bestimmt schon selbst machen,mit Tutorials auf Youtube usw kriege ich das hin,abeerr wie siehts aus in 1.0.4 Forum spricht man von diese Sachen (siehe unten) um Raw Videos von Pinkdots zu befreien bzw zu konvertieren.Jetzt meine Hauptfrage gibt es kein gutes Tutorial auf deutsch wie man das machen kann....

1) Pinktoolremover
2) raw2dng
3) Adobe after Effects

Und was mache ich genau mit dieser Datei um DUAL ISO zu benützen?

Und das habe ich gefunden aber wieder auf English,würde klar kommen damit aber mit extrem Kopfschmerzen,da mein English nicht Perfekt ist,und Google Übersetzer ;-) das nicht besser machen kann.Jungs bitte nimmt euch doch Zeit und übersetzt das auf Deutsch.....oder gibt es ein Deutsches Forum über MAGIC LANTERN und CO

Hi delorossa,

ich versuch mal mein bestes, Dir etwas weiter zu helfen. Ich habe keine 650D, daher ist meine Erklärung etwas im Blindflug.

Die "ML_N_04.09.2013.zip" ist die aktuelle MagicLantern Version für die 650D inkl. Dual-ISO.
Entpacke die Datei auf deinem Rechner und kopiere den Ordner "ML" und die "autoexec.bin" auf deine SD-Karte.
Die vorhandenen ML-Dateien werden damit aktualisiert. (Ich gehe davon aus, Du hast schon mal ML installiert)

Nachdem Du ML auf der Kamera geladen hast, gehe zum ganz rechten Reiter "M" und aktiviere die Module (oberste Zeile).
Darauf hin ist "Dual-ISO" im "Expo" Menü verfügbar.

Übrigens gibt es eine deutsche ML-Anleitung, diese ist allerdings vor Entwicklung des RAW-Videos entstanden:

Den Workflow von Raw-Video zu erklären ist........ sehr schwierig.
Dazu ist das ganze im Fluss und ändert sich ständig (von der speziellen Problematik der 650D mal abgesehen!)

Ja das mit RAW Video umzuwandeln ist eine lange prozedur.Danke für die Links.
