Hi folks, I can't find an option to disable power saving in Liveview mode. For me this is a big issue. I can't have the camera shutting down after a minute or two when I'm trying to compose a shot or light a scene. Any way around it?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi there,

That gives me options to enable power saving in standby, recording or standby or recording. There isn't an option to switch power saving off.

Canon auto power off maybe?

edit: to turn off ML power save, just set everything to OFF (excluding the Enable power saving option) in that submenu

That's it! I thought Magic Lantern's settings would overide the Canon user preferences, but I went back to them and saw that power saving was on. Running a test and Liveview remains on now. Thank you both!

Set everything to OFF then and check whether Canon power saving is enabled

Got it - it was Canon's setting. Thank you.
