The hobbit framerate achivable?

Is 48p (48 frames per second) achiavable via magic lantern? I Guess its not achivable in 1080mode but in 720 mode?

Yes, it should be doable in 720p with FPS override on (assuming your camera can record 720p @60fps or 50fps)

Why the need for 48fps? I believe that the Hobbit was videoed at 48fps for 3d. Which they say will be easier on the brain for those who find it hard to watch.

yeah it was done for 3d. as far as people say it is looking very good
