i would like to be able to use the intervalometer that is included with magic lantern and some of its complimentary features like hdr and bulb ramping  ............ while still triggering the exposure start from an external source like the wired remote trigger on my t2i. i would also like to have the focusing light flash after an exposure (or some other ingenious trick) as a method to tell an external system that the camera is no longer taking a picture. I am building a shoot move shoot style slider and potentially jib for doing moving timelapse. so theoretically i would like my arduino based slider/jib/dolly to move and have the arduino trigger the magic lantern intervelometer to shoot the next picture. the focus light or whatever would then flash at the end of exposure where i would have wired a light sensor to tell the arduino that it is ok to move the camera again. rinse repeat.

sorry for the long explanation.
thanks
