5DmkII max FPs 27 (actual).. Impossible to get more?!

Hi!
I have tested Ml 2.3 for some time, and I am trying to change the Actual FPS to 50, but no matter what I do, i get maximum 27FPS actual. Is this really so? I have tried to change from 1080 to 648x480, but to no avail!
Is it not possible to get more than 27 fps on 5DmkII?
If so... How?

Max fps. that can be reached on the 5D2 is around 34 in FullHD. Since it doesn't have 720p, you cannot shoot at 50/60 fps.
