Stack Focus not the same
« on: October 25, 2012, 05:20:46 PM »
I downloaded the latest "nighty" and now have trouble with Stack.

The buttons, right and left, and wheel just does the normal stuff - like changing menus.

Tried different a couple of the instructions on the forum, but no help.

What have I deleted, added, or changed to make this happen?

 Missing info:
- Camera model

When you find a bug in nightly builds, please also tell us which (if any) works fine for you.

Have a 550D.   Everything else works.  Although I was looking for aperture bracketing when I down loaded.  Guess a read that forum wrong.

I use a SIGMA DC 50-200.  I guess I found it does not work it manual mode.

How can I increase the amount of fames?  I have tried steps 1,2 and 3 and still get only 2 pic or 1,  with focus end point -17.  I tried using HDR with stack and software CombineZP, more pics, but out  of focus and over exposed.

Is this the lens that causes this?

The older version worked better.

Have a 550D with SIGMA DC 50-200, niffy 50mm( lens pop out) , EF 35-70.  My other lenses are w/o AF that wont with ML stack, I guess.
