I just installed ML 2.3 & it only works when I have the SD card that I did the installation with. I started with one card (8GB SD). Then I re-installed with a second card 16GB SDHC). Now it only works when I insert the second card and not with the first.

My shoots go over an hour so I cannot get by using only one card.

Any help will be appreciated!

Did you format the first card? If so, yes, you have to reinstall ML....

copy it on all the cards you use (autoexec.bin and ML folder)

...and make them bootable
The lazy way is to let EOScard do all the work for you  ;)

:( I formatted another SD card using MacBoot and copied the files from the card that works but it doesn't run ML. What am I doing wrong?

Uhm, maybe it's a MacBoot issue. Post a screenshot of the content of the SD card and the MacBoot settings (if there are any)

from http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/macboot/macboot.html:
"Note that MacBoot does NOT format cards, nor does it put any files there"

please format that card in camera, and make it bootable via MacBoot.

On MacBoot which is the correct option?

Make CHDK-Bootable
Make CHDK32-Bootable
Make DSLR-Bootable
Make Canon-scriptable.

If I format the card in the camera, the scriptable option seems like the correct choice, is it?

- Thx

The DSLR options should be the correct ones. Remember to do an-camera low level format first

 :) Hooray!

I got ML 2.3 to work with a second SD card on my T2i!

I formatted the first card in the camera, I added the ML 2.3 then followed instructions to install it on the camera.

The second card was formatted in the camera, then prepared using MacBoot with the Make DSLR bootable option selected, the last step was to copy the ML files from the first card to the second.

I am a happy Mac/DSLR user!

Thanks for the help!
