Hello,

I am attempting to install magic lantern onto my 5D mark iii for the first time. I have firmware version 1.1.3. When I go to download the corresponding ML software, the firmware file does not appear in the zip file. Does anybody have any explanation or a way to get around this? Am I going about this process completely wrong?

Thanks!

Stedda

Thank you, but when I try to install the ML software from the card, the screen reads that I need firmware on the card in order to run a firmware update. The only items that are downloaded when I click on the ML 1.1.3 version are the autoexec.bin and an ML folder. There is no .fir file.

When I downloaded other ML software to test if this was a problem across the board, they all included the .fir file.
