I used the latest nightly Magic Lantern firmware on my 5d2.

Shooting raw video with these Canon bodies is a pretty exciting proposition, since I enjoy shooting video on what I own, but have found the MPEG4 lacking.

This was a pretty down-and-dirty workflow:

- Shot 1600x900 on Canon 5d2 with Sandisk 90MB/s 64GB Card
- Transferred to a Thunderbolt SSD
- Converted from the ML Raw files to DNG with Raw2DNG
- Converted from DNG to PNG using ufraw-batch
- Stitched into ProRes MOV files with ffmpeg
- Assembled in FCPX (which upscaled to 1920x1080)

There are some debayering artifacts, and while I did a little bit of exposure adjustment in FCPX on a couple of the shots, a much better place in the workflow would be to grade the DNG files. I don't own DaVinci Resolve yet, and I didn't feel like round-tripping all of these frames through Aperture.

I've run one of the shots through Aperture as a poor-man's grading tool.

Here's the ProRes download of that shot.
