problems after installing ML on canon 600D

I have to say that it is an amazing programm but i am experiencing some problems.

1] i have lost the remote control fuction. meaning that the remote doesnt work.
2] the major issue: when i connect the camer with the pc, i noticed a major drop in transfer speed of raw files to the ssd.

So my question is: do the problem reside on the programm or the camera?

About #2: as a suggestion, always use a card reader. PTP is just crap 90% of the time

Try without ML, by using another empty card, or keep SET pressed at startup until you see Magic Off on screen.

Which remote, I have a cheap china wifi one that is working ok, also original canon or custom made wired remotes working good with ML.

I totally agree with nanomad.
I always extract the SD and copy into PC with a cheap card reader.
20 time faster than PTP.

what is PTP?

Is the way your PC and camera use to dialog when they are connected with usb cable, with a card reader instead you use USB mass storage that works better.
