[IMPOSSIBLE] Canon 6D with shutter speed 1/4000

The new full-frame camera provided Canon 6D shutter speed is 1/4000, what is the probability that the firmware ML will bring speed up to 1/8000 ?

ML wasn't able to change this yet in photo mode. In movie mode, it was easy.

I suspect the 1/4000s limitation (and only 1/180s x-sync) is purely due to marketing, but on the other hand the shutter might not be designed for 1/8000s and wear down faster its only 100k lifecycle - hard to say w/o Canon telling us...
