Guys, Being a novice photographer,  :-\ I find it challenging to comprehend everything on this forum.  :o What would you suggest doing first? I'm grateful.

I would advice beginners not to be bothered with Magic Lantern. You have enough to master trying to make sense what a camera does without ML.
Learn modes Tv, Av, M first. Get wise in "exposure triangle". Just shoot and have fun!

Read the other posts. Always promoting some video converter product and the website in the user's footer is a landing page for a web hosting company

This is really messing with my head. I swear I clocked the profile name and then "show posts" and there were 9 or so posts promoting some 3rd party video converter. Is it possible that these posts were deleted after I called it out? Or am I losing my mind?

You are mixing up two accounts together, the user who linked the "3rd party video converter" isn't the same user who created this topic. You are refering to this post.
