Hello fellow ML users,

I have a problem. I recently bought a mini HDMI to HDMI(Cable) and a HDMI to USB C/A Capture Card(Capture Card) and tried to connect them to CamX and Orion on my Ipad Pro (which didn't work). Then I tried adding a video capture device in OBS which gave a signal but showed this image. I don't know why it doesn't work, I even tried the 2.5 1:1 centred hdmi mode on my Canon EOS M. Build: Nightly.2024Jan01.EOSM202

Hope you can help :)
Kind regards

Connect cam's HDMI to TV set/computer monitor/AVR and test connection. You should get a connection with 1080i60 (=1080i59.94). Some monitors will lie about connection and telling you it does p (progressive). M can't do this.

I tried connecting the HDMI directly to my monitor withouth the capture card and it actually worked. It was a little strechted but i could see the full image when in photo mode. Also the menus and everything showed up on the monitor.

Issue with cam and capture device solved via discord channel.
Solution: Used Bilal's HDMI_OUT module to force cam into 1080i60 mode.

Ongoing issue with iPad acting up but this is outside our scope.
