My Camera is an EOS600D.

Via "Menu/Custom Functions/Operation/Others/Shutter/AE lock button" it is possible to select "AF/AE lock" or "AE lock/AE".

With "AF/AE lock" it is possible to lock the exposure measurement to a point different to the photography point, with the "*"-marked button. However, focusing occur for each picture, making "rapid" photography slow.

With "AE lock/AE" (back button focusing) it is possible to lock the focusing with the "*"-marked button. However, exposure measurement occur for each picture, resulting in that the camera must be directed to the exposure measurement point, different from the photography point, before each picture. Again making "rapid" photography slow.

My whish is to lock the both exposure and focusing measurements to different points and use theese settings
for a number of pictures.

Being new to ML, I have not (yet...) succeeded in finding what I am looking for. I kindly ask:

1: Is it possible to use ML for this?

2: Can a LUA script be used?

3: Where to find information on this subject? Hints/instructions appreciated.
