Hi guys,

I'm trying to shoot at 12-bit/10-bit at 3.5K RAW on my 5D mark III.
It seems that the nightly build doesn't have these options, and the experimental builds either has the crop_rec module for higher resolution, but no option for bit-depth;
or an option for bit-depth but no crop_rec module.

Which build does this guy have in his guide? I can see that he has both the ability to change the resolution and the bit-depth.

Is this a matter of installing individual modules? How would one go about doing that?

Thanks,
Andrew

Hey andrewdko,

Unfortunatly, I don't know what build of Magic Lantern that is. I'm assuming in later builds of crop_rec_4k_mlv_snd they moved the Data format option to be in RAW video. However, the latest build of crop_rec_4k_mlv_snd on Magic Lantern's website still doesn't support recording at lower bit depths with high resolutions. Good news is I found out that Danne (a contributer on this fourm) has made a build that allows you to override the bitdepth set in RAW video. Give it a shot, and let me know if it works!

I'm having the same problem. Nothing showing up regarding a crop module, settings, bitdepth etc.

I will check the links you guys posted. Thanks!
