Any working bolt trigger?

Hi,

I wonder if there are any bolt trigger modules that works or any fast way to trigger the camera while a lightning is happening.

I know that there was a module called bolt trigger (buf_bolt.mo) by mk11174 but that module latest update was almost 8 years ago and its repository had been removed.

Is the motion detection with exposure as a trigger fast enough to capture a lightning?

Not sure if you are asking for buf_bolt.mo module, it seems it's still there and you can download the module from mediafire, also the source code.

I have no experience with such things, so I can't help further.

I will try to use it today, since weather websites say we will have thunderstorms for the next 3 days.

I hope it works with my 60D.
