Hello.
I'm going to buy a Canon 5dm2 for shooting a short film in raw 14mb and I want to check if the computer will pull the processing in Adobe Premier Pro. To do this, I convert mlv to mp4.
Can you throw off a couple of sources from Canon 5dm2 14 mb or at least some? And then I found only a video for 1 second so far)

I think you mean "14 bit" instead of 14,000,000 bit.
What resolution and frame rate do you have in mind?
Have you ever worked with MLV recording before?

Alex3000

Of course 14 bit.
I think the resolution is within 2k.
No, it didn't work.
What computer parameters are needed? I have a weak

Walter Schulz

I don't think 5DII is the proper camera for your needs.
Data bandwidth for Full-HD in 14 bit:
1920 x 1080 x 14 x 24 fps / 8 = 83 MiByte/s
This is beyond cam's continuous data rate.

It doesn't fit because your requirements will cause data streams from sensor which can not be handled by storage interface forever. You are limited to shorter takes or have to reduce your requirements.

Alex3000

How approximately long will the duplicates be possible?
And if we take 12 or 10 bits?

Already purchased. Now I'm dealing with the memory card. Which one do you recommend as optimal?

Gold standard: Sandisk Extreme Pro. A bit overkill because 5DII cannot handle UDMA-7 mode. Others use Lexar Professional 1066x. Cheaper option: Komputerbay 1066x

A good Sandisk Extreme Pro 62 GB video card takes 20 seconds to record. Is this the limit? A 1.5 GB file is obtained, not 4

Rather, at 1856x1044, 20 seconds is recorded, and at 1856x790 it is normal and writes 2.5 minutes

Incomprehensible.
Are you talking about a Sandisk card labeled 64 GB? There is no 62 GB version.

?

Are you trying to say you get a 1.5 GB sized file after 20 seconds recording time?
This would be around 75 MByte/s which is a very good number!

"not 4" Sorry, but I don't understand what you are trying to say or ask.

Yes, 64.
4 GB is the limit of writing in one file, then it is cut into different files.
So in the resolution of 1856x1044 - 20 sec is this the limit before automatic shutdown?

So?
PS and what the hell is constantly being asked in the verification question about the host?
