Thanks for the info! It's a pitty that it didn't work, but cool to know that this awesome protect brought the attention of a camera company 
I guess companies want full control of what a camera can and can't do so it doesn't end up killing the expensive ones, and that doesn't get alone well with the Magic Lantern philosophy
