Live audio broadcasting with HDMI

I am using a t7i. I want to do live streaming, using the dslr as a secondary camera.  I am using an external field monitor so I can use the screen.

I want to use a microphone, to get live audio from the dslr.  However, that appears to be disabled when I plug in the hdmi cable.

Can I some how re-enable that with this firmware?  I DO NOT need to record audio, just monitor it so I can get the live audio broadcasted.
