Hi everyone, a while back I posted the trailer for my film Consumed, a film shot entirely on a 5d Mark III with Magic Lantern raw. When I made this project I would never have anticipated the reaction, and since then the film has screened at festivals across the world, culminating in a BAFTA nomination for best short film in 2017 - the only doc in the category.

I just wanted to say thank you to all the people at Magic Lantern, the quality of footage was crucial to capturing the essence of these places I traveled to. For a film-maker like me with no budget to speak of, it shows that with the right tools (not the most expensive!), the sky is the limit.

I hope you enjoy the film and share it on social media etc., it's a slow burner so grad a coffee and relax! :)

A really thought provoking and tastefully shot piece. Contratulations on its release and the nomination!

It goes without saying that the quality is stunning. I saw the odd detail about your workflow in the trailer thread, but didn't see which ML preset you used. Was it the 3.5K crop mode or rather the FHD binned mode (with an extra crop in post)?

Thank you so much for sharing it. It was really engrossing and drew me into the world of "production." The opening montage reminded me a little bit of a video version of Edward Burtynsky, shocking with the scale of the industrial activities.

Very tasteful approach to coloring the film and the audio design was excellent.
