Hi MlvApp contributors.
Getting h265 playback from MlvApp export on IOS is probably beneficial to many including me. Masc4ii made the minor change required to open that, and it would be appreciated if a new "1.121" could be built including this....?

There are a few problems with your request.

First, there is a dedicated thread for MLV App. It's linked on their Github page, too - no need to open another one:

Ask questions on the Magic Lantern forum thread.

Second, the change you are talking about was made less than 24 hours ago. A build including that change will be, very likely, made as soon as the authors decide to do that - they don't seem to offer nightly builds, so they might prefer to do some kind of testing before releasing, or whatever (I didn't follow this closely). There's no need to rush the process, just because you want this feature... yesterday.

On the contrary - lack of patience, in particular, demanding/pushing attitudes, might have the opposite effect. "Remember that people do free work because it is fun, not to get stressed by strangers" ;)

@canoneer: releasing a new version is some amount of work - we have to test and release the app for 4 different platforms. Doing this work after each tiny commit is no real fun. If you need this feature and like to do some testing: install Qt, download the code and compile it. You could contribute and do some testing, which is always needed.

Compiled for mac. This tag works beautifully. H265 compression algo is sick. From 170MB mlv to h265 10bit 8.4MB. 12bit marginally bigger at 9,5MB.
