No matter how much I play around with my 5D3 - I always come back to 5.7K mode, which is awesome. Now I did two very different tests: one at very low light and one with as much light as possible.
This video is recorded at ISO1000..ISO4000 depending on the clip, with the EF 50mm f/1.4, always full open.
And this video - the complete opposite - I recorded at ISO100, with the EF 16-35mm f/2.8 II, also always full open, but with a VND8..128 (mostly at the dark side).
As always I processed all clips with MLVApp only. I exported unsqueezed and downscaled to 3840x1560. For the night video I recorded dark frames in order to kill all static noise. For the dynamic noise I used the RBF in MLVApp and the (nice) bad YouTube compression
