Well looks like from what I've read I can only get 2 sec. bursts which is what I'm getting, I figured it was because I'm not using a fast enough memory card at the moment,,,,,, oh well......... I have a D5M3 in my studio but it's on the mainland and I'm on the Big Island..................

Without overclocking your SD-card interface is limited to 25 MByte/s theoretical bandwidth. You can use an UHS-II card but because you camera only supports UHS-I those cards will run in UHS-I compatibility mode.
For resolutions beyond native resolution you must enter crop mode. Depending on your build you have either to press magnify/loupe/zoom button or use a menu preset.

In short: 4k with 600D ... rather not.

Skinny

1-2fps 4k theoretically should be possible :D

there is also full resolution silent pictures for 5k timelapses
