Hello!

I wrote a wiki containing ML specific terms often used in forum discussions. Should work as glossary for users unfamiliar with ML lingo.
Please review!
Change denglish to proper english.
Leave comments in wiki if necessary.

To do: All the crop, binning, skipping, aliasing stuff + some build and firmware update infos.

Thank you,

This was very much needed!

If we find other acronyms that are not in the glossary, can we post them in this thread, be it a question "what does ARM stand for"? and "can you add XXX" ? And you add them to the glossary? (if deemed relevant)
once you go raw you never go back

Walter Schulz

If you just add
==== ARM ====

I will look over it.

If you add
==== ARM ====
Abbrevation for Acorn RISC machine. See [[#ARM (architecture]]

you are editing a wiki.

Ofcourse, I meant "can you add XXX (Xtra Xenon Xexy)" like one would add the entirety, not just another acronym that people would be lost in.

I dont know what you mean by

you are editing a wiki.

Do you mean "then you are adding to the wiki" ?

Cause I cant do any editing on the glossary.

And I do suggest the Glossary is added to the Front Page www.magiclantern.fm or a huge fat link to the top of the forum.-

Edit: Found it under User Guide, I am probably more blind to that than newcomers.

It's quite new! And a1ex and Lorenzo are working on it. Only one person at a time can edit.

As I found out today.

I'll wait awhile and then add anything I can.

Danne

Nice one garry23 and great initiative here Walter.

Thanks, Danne!
And maybe you have time to look after "Anamorphic" entry? ;-)

I never knew about JPCORE, thanks for the hard work, I will try to add something here and there!

Bump (sorry, Audionut)!

If you (yes, you who is reading this!) want to take a look, check vocabulary/grammar and if you want to edit or maybe even create a new entry: We would be delighted!
