Getting a 720x480 output on Canon T5i

Hi, I am trying to use my DSLR as a webcam with a camlink and I have been reading forum pages all day looking for a solution as to why my Canon T5i is not outputting 1080i like everyone else. I am using the newest experimental version of ML and the clear overlays is working great, but the output is so low its worse than my current webcam. If anyone could help me that would make my day...

Check Display tab -> Advanced Settings  -> Force HDMI-VGA. Toggle the setting and retry with each setting.

If it doesn't solve your issue:
Record 1080p video using Canon's MOV/H.264 implementation.
Play it back via HDMI. Resolution?
