Canon 5D Mark III Vertical and Horizonal Lines

Hello ML Community,

    Below are two clips filmed from two different Canon 5D Mark III's.

    I'm having an issue which involves horizontal and vertical lines showing up in the video. These were shot in 4:3 aspect ratio at 50fps in Magic Lantern Raw Video with 10 Bit Lossless with Alter Bit Depth set to 10 bit. Sound is auto, no mic attached. I used an external monitor, and didn't use fps override. The Build is:

    I've tried not using the external monitor, tried 23.976fps, and different MLV App settings as well as all MLV App settings turned off. I've even tried Batch MLV App. I'm using Cinelog-C in Adobe Camera Raw and SmartImport2 Script with After Effects. Clips are ProRes 4444 XQ. All software is up to date.

    I tried using Neat Video V5 but it made the clips look worse...

    I honestly am boggled as to what is going on. It's possible it's a build issue, but I'm hoping there's something I'm missing that someone can point out. I'm hoping to film some skateboarders soon, so I'm doing all the preparations I can in time for when it's warm out.

Is it very hard to post a clear MLV example? At least a sample dng? Or am I missing something? How can we see anything shot with a fisheye moving around like pov crime camera?
If you could find a frame with your issue and then crop into the issue and post exactly what you are describing would help your "issue" forward.

    You're absolutely right, sorry for my negligence. It's been a while since I've posted here. The reason I included the video in my room is because I know the issue shows there. But yes, I probably should've shown the issue not in a messy room.     It's a bit difficult showing the exact issue, since there are multiple faint horizontal and vertical lines, but in the 4 seconds of the MLV there is a horizontal line you can see.

    In this 300% cropped image, where the white wood is next to the window, there are a few black pixels, and this is where the horizontal line comes across:

I can´t see anything unusual from your test examples.

Dear Paul Harwood,
Basic mistakes are the picture Style with absolutely no contrast and sharpness and saturation? Sometimes seems to me the mlv files a little less bright maybe if your rise ISO  then maybe your problem gets less?
In the mlv app fix cyan. Chroma collection 2x2 or if it is only in Full HD 3x3 there is even a fix for banding. Stealing your build I guess isn't for the purpose in 4:3. Maybe you the nightly builds would be better?

     I don't think it's the picture profile honestly because I chose Cinelog-C in Adobe Camera Raw. I first exported a DNG Sequence from MLV App, then chose Cinelog-C. I'll see if I can do more tests. The ISO is 1600, but to my understanding that ISO value is safe to use with the Canon 5D Mark III. Any more details on fixing Cyan? Where is the fix for banding? I tried the most recent 10 bit/ 12 bit Raw build from the ML Experiments Page. Same issue. I can try the nightly builds but recording in 10 bit is really important to me since I can get continuous raw recording, which is important for filming skateboarders. Don't want the recording to stop in the middle of a trick. I think is 4:3 is better (more resolution, wider) with 1080p 30fps, I'll have to test that out, but I don't think it's continuous... More fps is better for capturing skateboarding tricks.

    Yes the problem is the two dots in the red ellipse. What's odd is there is a horizontal banding line where those two dots show up. As well as vertical banding lines. I don't remember seeing the lines before, but I have seen the dots. Bad pixels? Not sure the best way to fix this except for pixel maps which I'm not too familiar with. I have done it in the past. I thought this was an issue with the Canon 5D Mark III I have, but it's happening with both cameras. It's possible if I use the newer high quality 50fps preset that this issue won't be there, but in that mode I won't achieve continuous recording, to my knowledge.

Much likely isorelated in combination with reduced bitdepth. You posted dot issues a while ago if I recollect correctly.
You can try reducing bitdepth from two places and compare what works better.

But if the priority is the FPS I would just use something like the Galaxy S10 or others and adapt (ulanzi dof) with the expensive Canon EF lenses you can achieve up to 240fps in 1920*1080.
The best quality seems to me the 5.7k magic lantern setting. Even though you can't record that in 60 p you can edit it together for Skateboard videos.
