[False alarm] 600D not working after long time not beeing used

This is my first Post here.
Today it pointed out that my EOS 600D is not working after a long period of time that it is not used.

Insert card
Insert battery
Close compartment doors
Try to power on camera.

Any activity?

What happens without card inserted?
What happens with spare clean card (formated in PC)?

Hi,
thank you for your reply. Just left my EOS 600D on my desk since this error occured and today I wanted to go trough your steps and when I turned the Cam on it just worked..
