After much reading about ML and its instructions about installation, I've attempted to install on my factory original T2i with firmware v1.0.9., but received the error "Incorrect firmware version. Expecting a Canon 550D with firmware version 1.09"

The camera reports firmware v1.0.9 and I am unable to reinstall it because the Canon support link for that version is no longer valid.  I've searched the ML forum and found an old post reporting the same issue: https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=18056.msg173737#msg173737 , but nothing in that thread has solved my problem and I note that the poster had reinstalled the Canon firmware without solving the ML install issue.  I have also tried different sizes (8 & 16gb) and brands of SD cards, each formatted in camera and the camera reset.  What am I missing?

Thank you for whatever guidance you can provide

Top of page -> Downloads -> Download nightly builds -> 550D / Rebel T2i
Download links for firmware in "Installation" and "Useful Links"
Reinstall firmware and retry.

Thanks for the response.  The link labeled "Canon firmware 1.0.9 for 550D/T2i" will download the file v110-t2i-550d-x4-win1.zip containing e8kr7110.FIR, which I believe is firmware version 1.1.0?  The link on this page, https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=13111#post_Update-Canon , which is labeled "Official_Canon_550D_1.0.9_firmware", is a dead end: http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/firm-e/eosdigital7/firmware.html .  I'm confused.
