nature video - 5d3 3.5k 18FPS

i sometimes use 18fps when i want a different cadence, and i find it suits this kind of video.

maxed out resolution @ 2:1 AR, recording strictly to CF, 14 bit:

there's definitely extra efficiency in danne's 3.x k modes.

Indeed, this kind of cadence suits videos with not so much fast lateral motion very well.  It is very hard to see any difference to 24 fps.  Nice work!

i wonder what the maximum resolution possible would be at 18fps...  with overclocking and card spanning, we should be able to go pretty high!
