shot at 3616*1536, 12 bits 24 FPS

sandisk extreme pro SD 170MB/S overclocked, plus card spanning with a KB CF card.

unfortunately due to cellphone internet slow uploading i had to downscale it to 1080P, but it shows that the source was such high resolution!

unfortunately the CF card filled up during the take...  but it was half full before i started recording.  i didn't expect this talk to last so long!  luckily it ran out at a good spot to finish the talk anyways ;)

Some criticizm if I may.  You are making the same mistake with lighting all over again - big bright lamp in the front that catches all the attention of the viewer while your face which is the most important part of the scene remains in the background poorly lit and underexposed.  Even the front edge of the table is much better lit than your face.  All this makes your thoughts less convincing.

thanks for the input!
i'm into low-key on the "actor", but i didn't consider that it could invoke the experience you had as the viewer.  obviously i don't want to make it less convincing!

PS: i also wanted the bright lights in the scene to test the overclocking for such a long recording even though i prefer not being in the spotlight :)

This is amazing, do you know what the data rate was for this recording?
Also I'm wondering what's the max resolution you'd be able to record in a 16:9 aspect ratio - would something like approx 3200x1800 be possible in 10 or 12-bit lossless?

i appreciate the suggestion, ida!  i guess i just really have a taste for low key :)

alpicat, unfortunately i don't think we can go any higher vertical than 1536 with the 5d3 at this time.  i'd love to go higher but i don't think it could be done without some kind of sensor "overclocking" and that is not even on the radar...

so to get 16:9 you would have to reduce the horizontal resolution accordingly, resulting in 2906.
