Shooting Mode question

Hi all,

I've tried working this one out but can't seem to troubleshoot it. I am trying to have the audio meters displayed and also the zebra striping option but the prompt at the bottom of the info screen informs me that "this cant be activated with this shooting mode". Am I shooting Manual with a Canon 5D II and it does not matter what lens I have on. Does anyone know what this could mean and how I bypass it? Thanks in advance
