Hello,

I've read many of the posts regarding this error. Mainly the camera shows err 70 as soon as I close the battery compartment. I've tried all modes (M, Av, C1, CA, etc.) and still got the same err 70, sometimes I can see some info in the top LCD screen ( <1sec).

This camera has ML installed, when I tried to boot with a ML card for the 550D it shows on the display the camera is not a 550D, which I'm assuming is good ( at least ML is booting?).

So, I've found the post "Portable ROM dumper" and I've tried on my camera, this is the output

I've all the files generated by the dumper if anyone is interested.

Perhaps someone can help me troubleshoot on what's happening? possible to unbrick?

Thank You

Forgot to say that the checksums (md5) are the same on the PC as what is shown in the dumper.

Yes, please send me a copy of those files, privately.

You may also try getting a log file with one of those:
- https://builds.magiclantern.fm/jenkins/view/Experiments/job/startup-log-mpu/
- your regular ML card (for 6D); expecting it to save a crash log with more details (there are over 1000 different conditions behind ERR70)

Hello Alex,

I just sent the files, I've tried to get the log from the camera but even with the sw in the links provided there is no log written on the camera, the card led stays "on" as soon as I insert and close the battery (camera off) and the turn on the camera. I've waited a minute or so and no change in the card led (still on)

Thank You
Moises
