CuriousScrubling

Hello, I own a 800D (Rebel T7i) and I was wondering how much of a learning curve it is to help out in the development of a ML project. I have done like baby level scripting before and looking at the source code makes my brain melt, so let's just say I have ZERO experience with code and go from there haha.  Anyway, I'd like to help develop in any way I can. From pretending to understand anything in the 800D development forum, it looks like we're trying to reverse engineer how the new DIGIC processor's firmware is built by finding all the "stubs" and what they do? That way we can just send code signals in there and see what happens to which ever function that "stub" controls?

  • Is there somewhere I can figure out how to get started and what the development environment looks like?
  • Is it possible for zero exp scrubling to be useful here?
