Right, so as the title suggests, this will be a dedicated Video Shooter on a Remote Controlled Multirotor. Sooo light weight, good image quality and I vaguely recall a ML build with continuous autofocus???? At some point this will transition to a Pana GH3 but in the meantime, which would you recommend, the T2i or the T3i??

I guess you already looked at GoPro3 and rejected it.

GoPro probably the best choice for this application. SLR is waaaay heavier.

T3i seems like the best choice for video given all the recent development. Check out this thread where a T2i was used. This certainly shows that the weight can be supported given when paired with the right RC copter. As far as autofocus goes, you'll have better luck settings the focus manually to the hyperfocal distance. That will give you your infinite DOF as long as you are not flying very low or very close to things.
