tried to install ML on my 550d but i forgot the 3rd party battery grip :(

Hello there

I tried to install ML on my 550d but i forgot the 3rd party battery grip on:(
after the update button i press with all the files (.fir,.bin, ML folder) ML cannot boot
i must remove the battery grip to restart

Also my 550d does not work if i pull out the battery grip

Any suggestions

ok now with no battery grip
but still i cannot install ML on the camera

i do everything you say and when i press update to ML and nothing happens - black screen and red blinking

Do i have to downgrade to 1.08 and then 1.09 and then ML?

did you follow all steps (exactly) as described in http://wiki.magiclantern.fm/install ?

if not, please do so. every step is important, even if it doesnt look like that.
