Hi there, I'm a new user to ML and am interested in finding out whether it will do what I need.

I have a 700D which I use to take photographs of the planets through my telescope. Canon's Liveview feature is used for this purpose, where the 1024x688 pixel image from the Liveview screen at 5X mag is sent straight to a computer through the USB2 cable, with the computer either saving every frame as a jpg image or as a movie file made up from the jpg frames.

This arrangement works really well, with the only downside being that framerates are maxed out at around 20 fps. Canon claims that the Liveview screen refreshes at 60 fps, and I'd really like to know if ML can send the liveview images down the USB2 cable at frame rates higher than 20 fps? Failing that, can I record the liveview images at 1024x688 pixels to my sd card at high framerates?

Thanks in advance,

Andrew
