I Believe in you!. I would LOVE to one day actually be able to use my 2000d for longer than 30 minutes lol.

Yes, this would be amazing.  the 30 minute limit is definitely annoying but even worse is the fact that the camera doesn't automatically string video files together and just stops recording once it hits the 4gb limit, which it does in about 12m45s at 1080p.

ML is ported to the 1300d/t6, which has the same DIGIC 4+ processor and the same everything except for the pixel count (18 for the t6 and 24 for the t7).
So isn't it easier to just port that one to the 2000d?
i tried using the 1300d's files but it just gave  me a black screen when inserting the sd card

Every cam requires additional work.  Yes, 2000D is similar, but it is a different cam and there will be some changes.  Because they're close, it would likely be a fairly easy port.  Somebody still needs to do the work.

Hi with 24 mp and cheapest price I think canon 2000d with be the best ever port. has anyone tried yet ?

kitor

You can try yourself. As said earlier, it looks it might be a pretty straightforward port from 1300D
Too many Canon cameras.
If you have a dead R, RP, 250D mainboard (e.g. after camera repair) and want to donate for experiments, I'll cover shipping costs.

No new updates here = no progress

Hello, unfortunately we can't predict that, our guess is as good as yours. ML project doesn't follow a schedule.
Currently there is no active developer working on 2000D (and more likely none of current active devs have a 2000D).

However, 2000D is DIGIC 4+ model and DIGIC 4 models are already well supported, beside we have a 1300D port (also DIGIC 4+), which mean porting 2000D should be a fairly easy task.

Any updates on eos 2000d?

names_are_hard

If there were updates, people would have written them here, so, no.  Nobody is working on the 2000d.  There will never be any updates until someone does.
