5dMII ML set up.

Hi,

I get a problem saying "frame skipped. stopped" then recording stops? i only get about 6 seconds worth of recording? which is rather useless. How have you avoided this? I've got the 5dmarkii and a lexar CF 1066x 160/mbs card...please can someone help? I can't find a clear answer so far on the forum?

Without details about resolution and frame rate and other settings used there is only guessing.
And guessing tells you have a combination of settings leading to a required bandwidth above the limit cam can do. This is only guessing, of course and there may be other reasons.

Run a benchmark test in cam.
Modules tab -> bench.mo ON -> Restart in photo mode -> Debug tab -> Benchmarks -> Card Benchmarks -> Card  R/W benchmark (1 min).
