Medium Format EOSM!

I thought some may be interested in my latest experiments, using ML of course: realizing a medium format EOSM.

A variable ND that sits behind the lens, thus introducing no polarizing banding in the sky.
Doesn't make sense. All variable ND filters with a waveplate (quarter-wave) in front aren't affected by polarization banding regardless if mounted in front of the lens or behind.

@Walter

Trust my cryptic reply was understood. By banding (maybe not the best word to use, so I’ve tweaked my blog post) I meant the dreaded X effect you get by using a variable ND in front of a WA lens and at the strongest setting.

As I say, putting the variable ND at the rear of the lens eliminates/reduces the X effect.

Cheers
