Send lens information thru usb port

Hi,
I need a script that get lens information like: focal_length and focus_distance, and send that information to a PC thru a usb port in realtime.
Is that possible? I didn´t find anything about usb communication to a PC in ML Lua manuals.
Another way to do it?

and direct the internal camera focus motor

usually no focus infotmation avilable
