Ingesting images after ML is installed
« on: August 22, 2012, 08:46:33 PM »
I'm new to ML. I use Photo Mechanic to ingest images from the card to my hard drive. I am sure others use similar software. Are there ways to hide the ML files from this process so they are not copied to your hard drive?

Do not eat your images, I don't think they are that good for your health!   :o

Jokes aside, you could try setting the ML files to hidden in windows explorer and see if that helps

Thanks. I'm on a Mac. I'll have a look and see if I can do something like this.

I'd abandon that sw if it "ingest" everything and not just picture files.
Can't you specify in preferences which file-types to ingest?
