DataRate and settings for optimum video quality on 5D2

Hi
Can someone tell me what effect the different data rate settings have on video quality? What ML settings should be used for optimum video quality?

Set constant bitrate(CBR) to as high as your card manage without recording stopping.
I can go to 1.3x which gives me something around 72mbps instead of std 44mbps.
