Nikon WU-1a wireless adapter for Canon ????

Really hope that canon will have similar product for my 600D. Don't know if it can be modified to work on a canon body. Btw, may be a diy is possible too.

The adapter is called WFT-{insert version here} on Canon's cameras.

Those are only compatible on specific, usually top end cameras, and also range in the multiple of hundreds of dollars. If we can get the WU-1A or WU-1B (with USB adapter) to function on, like, the T2I, that would be an extremely cost efficent answer.

I, for one, would love to see this capability added to my canon without having to spend several hundreds of dollars.
