Hi everyone,
Let say a CF card falls to the ground (on an edge...) Now I am in doubt if the card is damaged (perhaps in one sector, or something similar, perhaps a damage that is not immediately evident).
Is there a method/analysis to surely check if the card is FULLY ok?

Thanks

Not sure if trolling ...

h2testw (Windows) or F3/F3 X/F3 QT (MacOS/Linux)

Thanks a lot Walter!
F3... I didn't know it. Tomorrow I'll test my card.
Thanks again

To be sure, fill it up. And play it back in mlrawviewer. Make sure you record in mlv_rec for easy playback in mlrawviewer.
once you go raw you never go back

Thanks Kharak.
Today I tried the F3 method and all went ok!
Thanks again.

Strange behavior for F3X today: I formatted a card-to-be-tested with Disk Utility, then launched F3X to start testing. Result: after the writing step, the reading step never ends... After hours, the sentence "this can take several minutes" is still there running...
I tried again and again, formatting the card with HFS+ and also ExFAT... but nothing.
Does this mean that my card is gone?

Thanks

Try formatting the card in the camera.  If that does not work and if camera does not access it then most probably, your card is gone.
